I Can See The Future
The future for this company is endless! Since Under Armour is still a freshly new company they have lots of diversity and new products that they can still develop. Their newest product is the Under Armour Recharge Compression Suit. It is a suit made for athletes to help their muscles to recover and rebuild after a workout, practice or game. It is to be put on after the activity and worn for 24 hours. It controls the water going to the muscles, which prevents swelling. What is the cost of this miracle? Tops are about $100 and bottoms are about $90.
MORE UA Green
Not only does Under Armour want to help their customers and community to "go green", by having the 100% recycled clothing and by building a green house with Habitat For Humanity, BUT they also want to do something for their EMPLOYEES to help the environment and their wallets too. Under Armour started a partnership with Constellation Energy to help their employees to lower their utility bills by using wind power.

UA Green & Habitat For Humanity
Also, UA Green and Habitat For Humanity are building an affordable green house in Baltimore, Maryland. The CEO, Kevin Plank, even got out there to help with lots of Under Armour volunteers.

Under Armour has come up with a new project to make a line of Under Armour Performance products that result in a less harsh environmental impact. They came up with a line of t-shirts and hoddies called UA Catalyst that are made from 100% recycled materials, such as plastic water bottles.
How are they made?

Under Armour Retail Stores
In my research Under Armour's employees are treated with the best care. The impact on the environment has not damaged the company because of the discoveries of new high-tech fabrics and technology, it has only grew rapidly. Also, since the company is starting to diverse itself in making new products for new consumers it is expanding the their revenues as well.
Under Armour has many job opportunities from their headquarters, retail stores, distribution centers, and modeling jobs. "Under Armour does not discriminate against any candidate on the basis of race, gender, disability, religion, national origin, age, or any other protected category." (http://www.uabiz.com/careers/careers.cfm) Under Armour even offers a 11 week Summer PAID internship for college students, called the Rookie Summer Program.
Under Armour also does not purchase products or components from suppliers that use forced labor, child labor, employee harassment or abuse, discrimination, or unhealthy and unsafe environments. They treat all of their employees with the upmost respect just as they treat their customers. They also offer a good discount and paid vacations for their employees.
I am sure this company is not perfect tho. I read some reviews from some former Under Armour employees. The only cons they had in working in the retail stores were the unfairness of needing certain times off the the "cliques". I would say in order to resolve these problems the employees should only be allowed to ask off a certain amount of days each month in order to create fairness. Also, they should focus on treating all the employees the same way so there is no favoritism. I believe both of these problems are very common in a lot of retail environments.

Everyone Has A Mission
Welcome to Under Armour
How did Under Armour get started?
Under Armour was founded in 1996 by a Maryland football player, Kevin Plank. He started the company from t-shirts that kept moisture in the fabric instead of absorbing it. He produced this product for athletes so that they could keep dry during their games and practices. His ideas became very successful and several National Football Teams started using his product. Today, Under Armour is not just used by football teams but for many other activities and by many demgraphical consumers. From just a small company to now a worldwide empire, Under Armour has expanded tremendously into a major fashion brand.
Who runs Under Armour and who are the Chief Executives?
Kevin Plank is still the President and Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of the company, Under Armour.
The rest of the Executive Team consist of Wayne Marino (Chief Operating Officer), Brad Dickerson (Chief Financial Officer), Gene McCarthy (Senior Vice President of Footwear), J.
